This free membership level supports new and micro retail businesses who are starting out and need the benefits of member certification as an Aboriginal-owned retail business and a basic level of member service and engagement.

Applications are reviewed in batches, typically monthly. Please allow 4 weeks before following up. Additional information may be requested, and the Board may reject or request alternate documents.

If approved, you’ll receive an email with access to your member profile. You’ll then need to select your preferred membership level, complete your business directory listing (subject to approval) and pay any membership fees. We will then review your new directory listing and send it live.

Membership is granted per registered business name (not ABN). You may apply separately for each business name you hold. Membership fee discounts are available for each additional retail business you own.

Membership expires after 1 Year.

Supporting Documents

Please provide a Membership Certificate and/or a Confirmation of Aboriginality for the majority of business owners. We cannot process your application unless you provide EITHER a Supply Nation or Chamber membership certificate or Confirmation of Aboriginality.

A current and valid certificate of membership of any of the business networks listed above. You only need to provide one.
If you are a member of Supply Nation, you can email them at info@supplynation.org.au to request a duplicate certificate. Note: This field is MANDATORY. If you are NOT a member of a Chamber or Supply Nation, you are will need to upload a file such as your confirmation here to ensure the form will be accepted. This file must be under 2MB.

If you do not provide a membership certificate above, you will need to provide a Confirmation of Aboriginality from your RAP/Land Council or an ACCO (Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisation) for the majority of Aboriginal owners of the business. Note: This field is MANDATORY. If you are submitting a certificate from a Chamber or Supply Nation, you are will need to upload a file such as your certificate here also to ensure the form will be accepted. This file must be under 2MB.

If your business is owned by a not-for-profit, please provide information on the registration of the entity eg. the ORIC or ASIC
